Howdy! We are Camille and Will Samuels, two wild souls brought to northern Nevada in pursuit of wide open spaces, big mountains, and vast desert. As homebrewers and hop enthusiasts, we never seemed to get enough hops, so we decided to grow our own. After putting up a small experimental yard, and discovering how much hops love the high desert climate, we decided to expand our experimental yard to a small farm. Will and I work as a team on the farm, enjoying the hard physical labor involved in farming. In spirit of farm to glass, we are excited to supply local breweries and homebrewers with a natural, unprocessed whole flower hops.
When we are not working, we are adventuring with our husky pups, exploring remote terrain far away from traffic. When we adventure we set goals, assess risks, act adaptively, and relish in challenges. We take the same approach to farming hops.
